If you have completed the Free Application for Federal Student Aid ("FAFSA") but did not release the data to Lake Forest, we will be unable to determine your official eligibility for aid. To complete this process in the shortest amount of time, you must have a "PIN" to allow the change to be made. If you do not already have a PIN, go to www.pin.ed.gov, then follow the steps below.

2. Follow the instructions, to add, edit or delete a school. Our Federal School Code is 001706. Click Next. (You do not need to click on "Find School Code" unless you are adding another college and do not know their code.)
3. Once you have finished, click Submit my School Codes.
If you have questions about this process, you may use their online help available from each page of the Web site. You may also call the Federal Student Aid Information Center (800-433-3243 or 319-337-5665) or the Office of Financial Aid (800-828-4751 or 847-735-5010).
If you cannot make the school change over the internet...
1. Looking at your Student Aid Report (SAR) find your DRN (data release number).
2. Call the Federal Student Aid Information Center 319-337-5665 or 800-4FEDAID (800-433-3243)
3. Ask them to add Lake Forest College to your existing federal application. Provide them with our Federal School Code of 001706, and your housing choice.
4. The Office of Financial Aid will receive your application in about one week.
