Interfaith Center
Since 1976 the Interfaith Center at Lake Forest College has been serving as the umbrella organization for all religous groups and activities on campus. We are a group dedicated to dialogue and communication between religious groups on camus, and offer assistance and support to all religious organizations. Students come to us when they want to start a new religious group on campus and we will help them get it started. In addition, the Interfaith Center hosts a variety of events throughout the year that promote interreligious understanding, such as our annual Inter-Collegiate Parliament of the World's Sacred Traditions in the fall and our annual Evening With ________ program in the spring.
Under the leadership of Ron Miller, William R. Bross Associate Professor of Religion, the Lily Reid Barnes Interfaith Center (IFC) is an umbrella organization that facilitates the spiritual and personal growth of Lake Forest College students in a context reflecting the religious pluralism of the campus. All religious and spiritually based student organizations must register with the Interfaith Center.
