MOOS

The MOOS program was developed twelve years ago with the following objectives:

* To broaden and strengthen relationships between Lake Forest College and neighboring communities.
* To adopt an elementary school class for the purpose of counseling, tutoring, and working with students on their personal development.
* To match the community students with the Lake Forest College students who maintain a demonstrated knowledge of and interest in the specific cultures.
* To inspire community students to think of a higher education as a realistic, necessary, and obtainable goal and to assist them with the essential preparation.
* To encourage community students to consider Lake Forest College as their educational choice.
